You have finally found your real estate property, you have found the home of your dreams, and now it's time to place the offer to purchase. A Purchase Agreement is a contract for the sale of a home to be constructed and the land it's to be buit on. It's used if the Builder is selling both the home and the lot. The real estate Purchase Agreement specifies the lot to be acquired and notes details concerning the transfer of title to you, the Purchaser.
The other documents that youshould look at carefully, that are part of the Purchase Agreement, are the Working Drawings, the Lot Plan, and the Written Specifications. The documents should accurately describe your new home's design, construction materials and warranty prtections. It's important that you clearly understand them so that you fully knowwhat you are buying. Review the documents and address and concerns with your builder representatives. Remember, if it's not in writing, it's not a part of the Agreement. |
